Yes these will fit a 1.4tsi, I have personally fitted these to three other models than the GTI with no issue as long as the car was built after jun 2009.

Quick question for anyone with a Mk6 with rear view camera... does the camera only come out when operated? I have just seen a Mk6 in a showroom and looked for the camera but didn't find it when lifting the VW badge at the back. The salesman said that the car does have one but that you cannot see it just by lifting the VW Badge... Any ideas?

Hi Steve
Can you let me know if your light led on the console comes on at all any more since using the "04" code? It used to come on for a few seconds on start up with the old regular lights, but since using the code it seems to have completely disabled the check. I'd prefer it if it would still check the remaining incandecent light - indicator and reverse light. NOt a big deal, but perhaps there is a code that allow computer still to check the remaining lights... |

Hi All,
I just fitted the LED's to my Feb build Gti (it's in Australia so I'm not sure if they are the same as UK spec?) the blurb I got is in Deutlish and says the folowing; By MJ2010 BCM KW22/2009 (Software 0537,0541) Coding Halogen VCDS byte 18+15 =43 18 bytes Xenon VCDS I have access to a Vagcom (but never used one) and the car isn't Xenon equipped. Does this mean in place of the code 4 mentioned for the 2009 model I need to enter 15? and how do I do this? Any help appreciated cheers |

Howdy Steve
Sounds like something you would have tried or heard about: How easy is it to retrofit the Dynaudio package to MkVI? I can't seem to find anything about such a hair brained idea anywhere on the net. Quite a few passat converts but no Golf VI. |
