Bought the Kufatec retrofit PDC kit, and now looking into going the whole hog and retrofitting Park Assist, more because its c cool feature than becasue it's needed.
Have got the part for the control unit for the Park assist, as well as the bumper harness.

What I'm not sure about is whether Park Assist only works with certain ABS and sterring wheel controllers, or where it's just some adaption code that needs to be anables to let the Park Assist module talk to the ABS and Stering controller.

Also, not sure of best way to drill out bumper for sensors - need some good pics of cars with Park asist so i can hopefully measure it out. Will check pricing of new bumper skins, but most likely hideously expensive!

Heard of any other numsculls trying such a thing?  jumpmove

I thought about doing this but since getting a Tiguan with Park Assist as our second car I won't be bothering.

I will be interested to see how you get on  happy2
