i have just fitted GTI bumpers to my MK6 GT TDI. I have 2 problems,
1: the front fog light wiring connector is different so i cannot connect up the front fogs as of yet. does anyone know where i could get a converter to do this or has anyone done it before?
2: i need to conver the rear exhaust to a twin tailpipe. has anyone done this before or can anyone give me any info on how to do it best or somewhere that could do it for me in the north west area.

Thanks

Don't know the parts, so post probably not that helpful but would imagine you could do something similar to what was done with the LED light connector adapter Steve built. If you've got a switched on parts guy at your local dealer, he should be able to give you the opposite connectors and repair wires.

hi mate

been to the dealer today and the parts guy was not helpful. he told me it was part of the loom and if i wanted it i would have to buy the loom!! div!! fighting

im going to get bothe of the bulbs and take them to a local car stereo installation place to see if they can make me up a connector to bridge the wires rather than cutting and soldering new wires in.

got the backbox sorted today, booking it in next week to have a custom rear box made for it. should look good when done!!

just got to fit the vmr's when they arrive and it will look the dogs!!

see if you can perhaps post a good pic of the connector on the current loom, and the plug in the new bumper lights. Perhaps the guys will recognise them and help out.

PM me your VIN and I can check on the parts system to work out which connectors you would need to make an adapter loom  happy2
