Hi all I am now awaiting delivery of my new mark 6 but must admit I am not totally convinced on the 18" monza shadows I've ordered was wondering if any of you could recommend a decent set of alloys to set my car apart from the other gti's I may see around. jumping

Only problem mate is cost.  If you buy it with the standard 17's then buy a decent set of 18's with premium tyres, they will cost you a hell of a lot (BBS's with premium tyres for example would be £1500+).  You can sell the 17's on fleabay but what would you get fr them, £500?

Personally I love them with the black, much more aggressive than the grey on the MK5.  They really make the car for me....

Only thing with them is...

Once you damage them, there are very few! I mean little to none.. places that will refurb these into both diamond cut and black power coated..

Well thats what ive found..

So anyone with any more info of who might do this.. please please let me know!

I bought nousey's rims off him and he had the Monzas done with black inserts and diamond cut face. Awesome finish and far better than the standard Monza II. Don't think they suit the look of the MK6 though.
