Hey guys

I have just been invited to the launch of the Golf 6 here in SA. Will be attending next week Thursday for two hours and will be given the car to take for a spin  driver

I am road legal so cant wait to see first hand just how good the new golf is. Its just a standard MK6 as we are a bit behind and the car only recently made its debut a month ago.

Cant wait!  Smiley

Dont you think its so cool that we havnt even been around for a year yet but we have an international community where we have people representing the forum in the UK and even South Africa? drinking

90% of the guys and gals at the launch will be MK5 GTI or MK5 owners so there will be a lot of people to introduce our forum to.

Anyways... I just got another Confirmation email from VW confirming my representation at the launch tomorrow....

Wow....... They are going full out here  chicken

1. Arrive at our Cape Town Convention Centre for breakfast and for info on the new car.
2. A VW shuttle service will take you to the "Golf Hotel"

For those confused... VW South Africa built a hotel here in a Rich area and called it the Golf Hotel. The hotel was launched last month to celebs and other famous people and is a proper working VW owned Hotel. Inside is the history of the Golf and other VW vehicles as well as the Golf 6 and all the information you could need.

3. Once arriving at the Hotel the car will officially be unveiled.
4. You will then each be given a Golf to Test on an official test route which is closed off to other cars.
5. You will then be transported back to the Convention Centre where drinks and snacks will be served.

You can then leave at your own leisure.... Eish.... Im super excited  innocent laugh happy2
