I'm sure that once a few people actually start to take delivery of their shing new mk5.5 mk6 GTI their eyes will be scanning the interweb for the best tuning packages available to get the most out of the new engine.

As these motors are already in use in the UK in Audis, has anybody yet had any experience of which tuners are on the ball with re-maps for the EA888s? The only test I've seen so far was a little while ago in VW Driver magazine where they briefly featured a REVO modified 1.8 TSI version of this engine. They seemed far more impressed with this engine than the re-mapped 1.4TSI they had in the same test. I believe the feature also ran in Audi Driver magazine where they obviously placed more emphasis on the 1.8 as it was in an Audi.

I've yet to see anything on the 2.0 EA888

The US have had the EA888 for a while so would expect quite a few things in the pipe-line  happy2

Yeah, it'd be interesting to see how they react to mods like for like with the TFSI MK5 GTI motor.

Cool, will be good to see the graphs when you're done.
Does it differ much in power and delivery to the earlier K03 TFSI?

Yeah I saw your graphs on other forums Andy, they got good power out of your Roc. I've seen quite a few graphs for stage 1 REVO mk5 GTIs and yours certainly produced the goods in comparison.
Will be keen to see what the new Golf manages.

We might not have to wait too long as I arranged with my local Revo dealer (APD Dorset) that my car will be going to Revo to be the test 'mule' within the next couple of weeks so stay tuned!
