Just read in Auto express, that a buyer wanted xenons, (on his GTI) but found that they arnt avaiable.
auto express did some calls, and found that there not available yet (on early cars) but would come later.
thats terrible, youd of thought theyd have the things sorted from the off.
which makes me think now, that once sorted they'll probly have LED DRLs instead of running side lights

Xenons in europe are avaiable week 22 end of may. Im sure the UK will follow shortly after.
I think i have typed this about a million times on just about every forum going lol. Must have missed this one lol. happy2

Its the same problem they have had with the scirocco its a supply issue.

Golf GTI with completely redesigned bi-xenon headlights, including dynamic curve lighting. The headlights swivel through a steering radius of up to 13 degrees to the outside and seven degrees to the inside. The styling of the headlights closely matches the GTI’s sporty character. The interior dual modules (xenon outboard, parking light / turn signals inboard) each have a chrome pod through which a very impressive visual image projects.

Don't expect them to be a cheap option though as they are £850 from SEAT so expect VW to add there cut ontop for there 'prestige' VW badge pricing.

I think they may now be available in Germany to order as they are now on the configurator at volkswagen.de

This is coincidental cause I was wondering why the rocco didnt have any xenons listed, for ages been trying to see why, then 2 days ago saw a rocco for sale on Autotrader with xenons fitted, now this thread answers the questions, thing is the UK configurator still isnt listing them for fitment.

But lads, count yourself lucky, bloody audi charge for the headlights £1500+ alone, then you have number of control modules to fit along with looms & fitment.

I upgraded my single vision xenons to bixenon adaptive (curve) & I was lucky I knew where to get parts & have the knowledge but it certainly wasnt simple, of course with new car it would be cheaper but I wouldnt be without xenons as per my last 3 cars have had, love them, but love the adaptive bixenon ones even more, its cool when driving round corners & they really do make a difference
