Guys, you'll be pleased to hear I've carbon wrapped the chin lip AND rear diffuser!!!(not an easy task I can tell you) Will post pics ASAP.

In the meantime I'm retro fitting some laserline rear parking sensors which fit from behind the bumper skin, so removal is in order. Any links or diagrams/pics on how to or anything to look out for.

I guess it's similar to front end, does the plastic boot trim just clip in?

Also, the reversing light is on the boot door!!! fcs!!! Will I have to remove ALL the door trim to get a wire to it? Just had a go and that trim just don't wanna budge!

boor liner clips seem to work in all directions. I broke off one when removing.
Heres a pic, maybe help you out.
If you find a good description of removing the rear bumper skim, let me know, I plan to do a PDC retrofit if I ever get a few hours

Ouch! that looks nice and easy, not. However just added another issue above. The reverseing light is in the boot door and you

have to (I believe, unless I could ID it elsewhere?) run a wire to it.

Check it out. Another VW interior trim nightmare. They really don't like you retro fitting these do they!

Thanks for that mate. happy2 Seeing an item off the car is invaluable. I'll see how many clips I brake.

Hatch lid are probably the easier one to remove but do take quite a bit of force. trouble is to yank it hard enough just a few cm, or you risk breaking clips, or cracking the plastic by bending it to far (did both)

You can run a wire to a plug at the front near the fuse box, but think this is more of a hassel. I'm busy removing trim to get to that too...
