Has anybody got a list of parts required for the auto boot pop?

I know ECS do a kit for it but i read somewhere that there is a cheaper way using OEM parts but cant find it now Grin

Hear that the boot pop does not always work, and it seems like the boot does not open as far, leaving you to bash you head often, but also interested in this one...

my-gti has some info.
Still not sure it opens as far as the OEM struts allow

The head bashing was the reason I took mine off, plus in the cold it wouldn't always work.
